Lebanese food for today---Nuba!

Lamb Kibbeh
First time I've heard about Nuba when me and my sister saw their West Hastings branch. We made a promise to each other that we will try it sometime. Fast forward, a weekend before heading to our grand trip for this year; I suggested Nuba to my teddy bear to expand his culinary experience for a day. This would be our first time trying Lebanese food, one of our many firsts.

With Nuba's several location, we decided to try the Kitsilano branch so my 🐻 and i can window shop along West 4th afterwards and grab his sunglasses for Manila trip from one of the stores there.

My teddy bear ordered Lamb Kafta and mine is Lamb Kibbeh (above) and it's total package! It's great combination of the greens, pickled cabbage, olives and meat. To some people lamb has a gamey flavour, the pickled olives and cabbage perfectly neutralized it.

Instead of coffee, i ordered black tea without giving specifics and what a pleasant surprise they have Assam tea for their black tea!

Perfect meal before window shopping. I can see myself coming back for more Nuba!
